London, 5th November – Nickelodeon UK announces a partnership with The Show 4 Kids plc to create ten original interstitials with hit family musical act 'The Go!Go!Go! Show.' Starring the core cast members including the sock-snarfing Fluffalope, the bespoke shorts will feature follow-along dance routines and original music written by UK pop supremos Mike Stock and Steve Crosby. The three minute, UK-produced interstitials will air on Nick Jr. from February 2013.

"Working with iconic figures in pop music on such a unique property is a fantastic opportunity and we are delighted to be bringing Go!Go!Go! to Nick Jr.," said Peter Drake, VP Creative Director, Nickelodeon UK. "The energy and fun of the performances, combined with perfect pop songs will complement our schedule wonderfully; acting not only as on-channel continuity but also as a vibrant live-action representation of the Nick Jr. brand."

The Go!Go!Go! Show, launched in 2010, has received outstanding reviews and to date has completed over 100 live performances in London's West End and on tour around Britain. The show features a cast of six: Carl, Gemma, Jade, Holly, Steve, the inquisitive Mr. Baffled and Fluffalope performing a unique and interactive mix of pop music, dance and comedy. The live show experience will be translated to create specific content for Nick Jr. to encourage audience interaction and physical movement. With songs incorporating themes such as fitness, friendship and healthy eating, the Go! Go! Go! interstitial spots will cover all of the Nick Jr. day parts, changing from lively morning songs to calming before bedtime segments. Embedded into the continuity of the Nick Jr. schedule, the Go! Go! Go! spots will announce upcoming programming as well as providing a human face for the channel.

"We are delighted with this partnership," said The Show 4 Kids' Chairman Mike Stock. "There is a real synergy here with our shared values around providing quality, family-friendly musical entertainment that kids love and parents trust."

Managing Director Steve Crosby commented: "From the outset, the creative collaboration with such a respected broadcaster has been a dream. For us, the opportunity to take our show from stage to TV screen is a significant step in our development."

Directed by David Kangas, the interstitials will be produced by the Nickelodeon Creative Services team under Creative Director Peter Drake. As well as adapting existing The Go! Go! Go! Show content, Mike Stock and Steve Crosby are penning brand new songs for the Nick Jr. interstitials.
