Nickelodeon UK Announces Plans To Launch A Plus One Timeshift Channel For Nick Jr. Channel UK Called "Nick Jr +1"

UPDATE - Nickelodeon UK and Ireland have launched "Nick Jr +1" on Sky Digital channel 630, which was previously the Sky EPG (electronic program guide) channel number occupied by NickToons UK and Ireland's plus one (+1) timeshift channel "Nicktoons Replay", which Nick UK closed down to make room for "Nick Jr +1". Unlike "Nicktoons Replay", "Nick Jr +1" will broadcast 24 hours a day instead of 12 hours a day.

According to OverNights.tv, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland are planning to launch a brand new preschool channel called "Nick Jr +1", which will be a plus one (+1) timeshift channel that will rebroadcast what's on the main Nick Jr. Channel an hour later, similar to Nickelodeon UK's plus one (+1) timeshift channel, Nick Replay UK:

Nick Jr +1 will begin BARB reporting on 1st October, 2012.

It is currently unknown whether Nick Junior's brand new channel, Nick Jr +1, will launch as a brand new channel in addition to Nick Jr. UK & Ireland and spin-off preschool channel Nick Jr. 2, or will replace Nickelodeon UK's second preschool channel, Nick Jr. 2.
