Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles last night (March 31).

Among the evening's highlights included host Will Smith parachuting from a 246-foot orange blimp, First Lady Michelle Obama making her Kids' Choice Awards debut, and the usual dose of celebrities getting slimed.

Digital Spy's Anna Williamson chatted with iCarly stars and nominees Noah Munck and Nathan Kress about the awards ceremony, as well as their show's recent guests Michelle Obama and One Direction - who also performed at the event.

Talking about Michelle Obama's recent appearance on iCarly, Kress said: "She knew all our names, she knew all her lines. She was extremely professional."

On One Direction's guest spot on the series, Munck said: "They're cool guys, so down to earth. They were all a lot of fun to work with."

Kress added: "They were super nice guys. There's five of them and five of us [iCarly cast], so our fives melded well. They did really really well."

When asked for their favourite One Direction member, Kress said: "I think Niall, he was the goofball of the group, he was messing around the most. I had the hardest time understanding him though, as he was Irish."
