Nickelodeon UK To Premiere The Brand New "The Fairly Oddparents" Movie "A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!" Soon

According to Nickelodeon UK's brand new ""A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!", Coming Soon, Only On Nickelodeon" trailers/promos (below with transcripts), Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon UK HD will be premiering the brand new Nickelodeon Original Television Movie "A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner!", which is based on the popular animated original Nickelodeon show ("NickToon") "The Fairly Oddparents" and stars Nickelodeon Stars Drake Bell ("The Amanda Show" and "Drake & Josh"), Daniella Monet ("Victorious", "Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred", and "Fred: The Show"), Daran Norris (Gordy in "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide", "Buddha Bob" in "Big Time Rush", and the voice of Cosmo and Mr. Turner in the "The Fairly Oddparents"), and Tara Strong (the voice of Dil Pickles in "Rugrats" and "All Grown Up!") on Friday 2nd March 2012 at 6.00pm (repeated at 7.00pm on Nickelodeon UK's +1 timeshift channel, Nick Replay UK).

The brand new "The Fairly Oddparents" movie "A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner!" is set in the city of Dimmsdale and centers on the series' main protagonist Timmy Turner (Drake Bell) with his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda (played by Jason Alexander ("Seinfeld") and Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") as their human counterparts) and his fairy godbrother Poof. In the movie, Timmy is now twenty-three years old but is still in fifth grade with his fairy-obsessed fifth grade teacher Mr. Crocker (Steven Weber (Wings)). Despite being grown up, Timmy finds a loophole in the fairy rulebook 'Da Rules': if he continues to act like a kid, he will still get to keep his fairies. However, the dilemma rises when Tootie (Daniella Monet), who was once a dorky girl when she was ten years old, returns to Dimmsdale as an attractive woman. Timmy falls in love with her, a sign that he is growing up to an adult, which means he is closer to losing his fairies. Meanwhile, an oil business tycoon named Hugh J. Magnate, Jr. (Steven Weber), who teams up with Mr. Crocker, plans to use Timmy's fairies' magic in order to promote his oil business.

About Grow Up Timmy Turner

Life is pretty magical for 23-year-old Timmy Turner. He's managed to avoid all sorts of responsibilities by staying a kid at heart. He's even maintained his 5th grade status to keep his Fairy Godparents, Wanda and Cosmo! But when Timmy's childhood friend, Tootie, returns to town, Timmy is forced to deal with new crushy feelings for the once-dorky-now-gorgeous Tootie. Will he have to (gasp!) grow up?? But what would happen to his Fairy Godparents?? Tough questions for Timmy, but that's nothing compared to his big time battle with power-hungry evil business trying to take over his beloved Dimmsdale! It just might be time for Timmy Turner to do some growing up.
